Due to mica on the candle topper, wicking may be hindered. Tent with a candle tent or aluminum foil. Make sure you burn the candle until an even edge to edge wax pool is present before blowing out the candle. **Disclaimer: I've had these candles burn perfectly with no issues, and then the next one in the same batch is tempermental. Candle tents are your best friend with any candle by any brand.**
